Living in the outdoors is just so therapeutic for those with the knowledge and skills to live in harmony with the environment. CHMAS offer instruction in bushcraft & survival skills so you can do this safely . You can chose from a taster session to set you off on the direction or for the more adventurous you might like to try a multi day bushcraft experience.

Canoeing is a great way to see the countryside and CHMAS will equip you with the skills to do it safely. If you are new to the sport, our foundation skills training will provide you with the skills to start paddling on your own on gentle rivers and lakes. For those with some experience why not try our introduction to white water skills training and soon you will be paddling the rapids with ease.

Generally, instruction for the activities will be undertaken by Chris but CHMAS do sometimes use other instructors who are well known to us, have a passion for the outdoors and who hold the appropriate National Governing Body Award. To allow flexibility all our courses are available through open courses which anyone can join or by private booking (you have exclusive use of the instructor).
