FIRST AID AT WORK (FAW)

Our 18 hour Rescue Emergency Care (REC) FAW course complies with the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Approved Code of Practice L74 guidelines for qualifications of workplace First Aiders.It also provides you with a comprehensive set of practical skills needed by first aiders in the workplace so that you can confidently deal with any incident.

Course Content

The course will provide you with fundamental live saving skills and then show you how to apply them through a systematic approach to first aid through instruction and practical scenarios.

Assessment

First Aid at Work courses are assessed by external assessors by observation of practical skills and oral questions and a short question paper.

Accreditation

Our courses are delivered through Rescue & Emergency Care (REC) who meet the standards specified by the HSE for Due Diligence for first aid providers.

Certification

Successful completion of the course leads to a Rescue Emergency Care (REC) Level 3 First Aid At Work certificate, which is valid for three years.
